Welcome to the internet home of Sierra Madrone Grove, ADF!
Sierra Madrone Grove, ADF (SMG for short) is affiliated with and sanctioned by Ár nDraiocht Féin
(which is Irish Gaelic & is pronounced “arn ree-ocht fane”, and means “Our Own Druidry”), or ADF,
which is an international organization devoted to creating a public tradition of Neopagan Druidry.
This grants our Grove 501c3 nonprofit status.
Sierra Madrone Grove, ADF was founded in the Sacramento, CA area in March 2004,
and is a fully chartered ADF grove.
Join us for our next ritual!

Summer Solstice - Sunday, June 21

We assemble at 3:30pm, and ritual begins at 4p sharp.
We do not close a circle, so you are allowed to arrive late;
we simply ask that you join us quietly.
We'd love for you to bring a dish to share in one of our famous post-ritual potlucks,
but no one will be turned away from the table for lack of contribution;
you'll find that our spread is always impressive and delicious,
and many food sensitivities are regularly taken into account.
Also, if you wish, feel free to bring a personal offering for any Ancestor,
Nature Spirit, or Deity of your choosing. We welcome you to pray at our good fire!
Where: Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento (UUSS)
2425 Sierra Blvd, Sacramento, California 95825
You can find us in Room 11, which is around the back to the right,
& all the way at the end of the parking lot - look for our green & white sign;
don't forget, ritual begins at 4p sharp. Hope to see you there!
Eight Winds 2015
Sierra Madrone has secured a location for Eight Winds 2015,
and will be hosting the annual western ADF festival!
It will be held July 23-26, 2015 at Blue Mountain Event Center in Calaveras County, CA.
This is a very back to basics event, and the registration fees are reasonable--$30 for adults,
$20 for children 10 and over, and children 9 and under are free. It is a camping event,
but there is a stage, a barn for workshops, several fire pits, flushing toilets, and a shower.
There is no meal plan; however you are free to bring and cook your own food
or purchase meals from the retreat center. The retreat center will be charging between $5-$8
for breakfast and for lunch, and $8 to $10 for dinner.
For registration, please Paypal firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate how many are attending.
Workshop proposals for the festival are now being accepted; please e-mail Victoria (email@example.com)
for more information or to submit your own proposal.
If you would like to volunteer to assist in festival planning, please e-mail Sean (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you have any questions about ADF, Sierra Madrone Grove and our rituals/activities,
or neopagan druidry in general, feel free to send us an e-mail! :)
