Welcome to the internet home of Sierra Madrone Grove, ADF!

Sierra Madrone Grove, ADF (SMG for short) is affiliated with and sanctioned by Ár nDraiocht Féin

(which is Irish Gaelic & is pronounced “arn ree-ocht fane”, and means “Our Own Druidry”), or ADF,

which is an international organization devoted to creating a public tradition of Neopagan Druidry.

This grants our Grove 501c3 nonprofit status.

Sierra Madrone Grove, ADF was founded in the Sacramento, CA area in March 2004,

and is a fully chartered ADF grove.

Join us for our next ritual!

Come celebrate Spring Equinox with the Druids the ADF way, with rituals and song; as always, on Spring Equinox we honor the great seer god Finneigeas. Join us as we celebrate the spring in true ADF fashion!

Please bring a dish to share in one of our famous post-ritual potlucks; also, if you wish, feel free to bring a personal offering for any ancestor, nature spirit or deity of your choosing. Hope to see you there!

21 Dec 2011: Sierra Madrone Grove, ADF is pleased to be hosting Eight Winds 2012! Eight Winds is

ADF's annual festival for the Northwest Region, & is open to ADF members, their guests and invitees.

It will be held at the Prosser Ranch Group Campground near Truckee, CA in the gorgeous Tahoe National Forest (same location as Eight Winds 2011) and registration is now open!

19 Dec 2011: We had a wonderful winter solstice ritual on December 18th; thank you to everyone who attended! We had several new folks joining us, some for whom this was their first ritual ever;

we hope that you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed sharing it with you,

and that we'll see you again at Imbolc!
